Wales

Wales (Cymru in Welsh) is a country that is part of the United Kingdom, bordered by England to its east, and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west. Wales have a population of 2.96 million people, there are two oficial languages, the English and the Welsh (arround a 20% of the population speak Welsh).
The Welsh flag consists of a red dragon passant on a green and white field. It's a beautiful flag
The capital of Wales is Cardiff, other major cities are Newport and Swansea. The Wales national day is March the 1st, the day of St. David. But there are other important celebrations in Wales, like the Eisteddfod, an annual celebration about the Welsh culture.
The national sport is the rugby, but in Wales football and golf are also famous sports.
Some of the most common foods in Wales are the seaweeds, the rabbit, and leeks.
I like the landscape of Wales, a lot of green, and I prefer see castles over the fields than cities. There is a city in wales called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, this Welsh town actually exists and its name translates as "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave". And it has it's own web page Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.com is the longest single word .com domain name in the world.
